Current scientific findings and evidence from the animal kingdom show that this process is not as fixed as we once believed. Certain interventions can influence it \u2014 and even slow it down. During this lecture, we will explore various aspects such as nutrition, sleep, mental well\u2011being, and physical activity, and we will demonstrate their real impact not only on longevity but also on extending the number of years we spend in good health (the so\u2011called <em>healthspan<\/em>). Aging itself is the greatest risk factor for most chronic diseases and a&nbsp;major source of suffering and pain worldwide. It is therefore in society\u2019s best interest to understand this process more deeply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaker:<\/strong> <em>Miloslav \u0160indel\u00e1\u0159<\/em> is a&nbsp;Czech nutritional therapist and co\u2011author of the books <em>Modern Nutrition<\/em> and <em>Modern Weight Loss<\/em>. He has long been dedicated to popularizing evidence\u2011based information on health, nutrition, and longevity.
