An informal Link and Breakfast meeting was held at\u00a0FLEKSI<\/a>\u00a0in Brumlovka in Prague at which the employees of companies from Brumlovka met those from the nearby\u00a0Roztyly Plaza<\/a>\u00a0office building. The main item on the agenda was a\u00a0presentation by technology expert Petr M\u00e1ra on the subject of artificial intelligence, followed by a\u00a0panel discussion with key representatives of Microsoft CZ, \u010cEZ Group, and Frequentis Czech Republic. Discussion centred on balancing the innovation and risks that artificial intelligence might entail for companies. Passerinvest Group organises these regular Link and Breakfast meetings in Brumlovka as one of the many ways in which Passerinvest creates an inspiring working environment, while at the same time connecting its tenants to each other.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This time out, representatives and employees of companies that have offices in Brumlovka and in the Roztyly Plaza building came along to take inspiration from discussion of how artificial intelligence changes our work and personal lives and what challenges and the opportunities it will bring in the future, all over a\u00a0cup of coffee. Petr M\u00e1ra showed everyone there the speed at which artificial intelligence is currently developing and how it is transforming a\u00a0variety of areas \u2013 searching for information, improving the generation of text or visual content, for example, the use of artificial intelligence in augmented reality in\u00a0smart glasses, and so on \u2013 before outlining a\u00a0vision of the future \u2013 entirely autonomous vehicles and robots.<\/p>\n

Petr M\u00e1ra sees the great potential of artificial intelligence as lying mainly in education.\u00a0\u201cEducation can be far more interactive and gain greater momentum. The things we have until now only imagined based on our learning from books, augmented reality and artificial intelligence make it possible to actually experience. This is a\u00a0great example of how the correct use of technology can be effective,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Petr M\u00e1ra told participants. Among other things, he emphasised that artificial intelligence is not simply a\u00a0phenomenon of the past few years, as it might seem on account of\u00a0its rapid evolution, but that its development goes hand-in-hand with the development of technology ever since the first computers.<\/p>\n

The panel discussion that followed was attended by Petra Voj\u00e1\u010dkov\u00e1, Manager of the \u010cEZ Group\u2019s\u00a0Digital and Data Centre, Michal Marek, Director, Customer Success at\u00a0Microsoft CZ, and Tom\u00e1\u0161 Vl\u010dek, Managing Director at Frequentis Czech Republic. They shared their personal experience and opinions of and their approaches to artificial intelligence in terms of\u00a0its implementation in corporate processes, and pointed out\u00a0the failures we can learn from so far.<\/p>\n
