The exhibition is a collection of works inspired by Šumava and the surrounding foothills—the artist’s home region—its unique energy and harmony. Šumava is beautiful, quiet, cozy, and romantic, yet it can also be rugged, inhospitable, barren, and mysterious. The paintings blend personal impressions of the mountains, valleys, people, and the culture of the region.
