Kenya – My Memories of Africa

I was just riding through Troja when I heard a lion roar. I didn’t fall off my bike, but that familiar sound instantly transported me back to Africa, to my month-long journey in January through beautiful Kenya. I traveled independently, mostly with a rented car, often camping at public campsites (only for climbing Mt. Kenya and visiting Masai Mara was a guide mandatory). You will see photos from national parks and reserves such as Nairobi National Park, Mount Kenya, Amboseli, Tsavo, Hell’s Gate, Longonot, Lake Nakuru, Ol Pejeta, Samburu, from tea plantations in the Aberdare Range, from the train journey to Mombasa by the Indian Ocean, and back to the (in)famous Masai Mara reserve. These are my memories of Africa.
