Baar Park

Baar Park, with its large fountain, covers an area of one hectare immediately adjacent to Baar Residential Park and the FILADELFIE Building. Baar Park offers residents from the surrounding areas as well as those working at Brumlovka locality a delightful place to relax, interesting attractions, the option of working outside the office, or just taking a break, perhaps with a game of pétanque at the local court.  How about a picnic with goodies from one of the nearby restaurants or cafés? Picnic blankets as well as pétanque sets can be borrowed free of charge at the FILADELFIE Building reception.  Or try another form of relaxation with a book from the BookBooth public library, or feel free to take home to read. Children and adults alike can try the rotating seesaw or unusual speaking tubes. How is it possible for someone 50 meters away to hear you without shouting? Even adults will be amazed at how well sound can travel through underground tubes. The park’s pleasant atmosphere is underscored by beautiful landscaping as well as a pond with a fountain. Please note that dogs are not permitted in Baar Park.

Baar Park has been undergoing an extensive transformation since last fall 2016. New flower beds have been added and new types of flowers are in bloom. More tulips, narcissus, and hyacinths appeared this spring 2017 in the beds around the FILADELFIE Building. You can enjoy the new rose bushes , as well as the new flower bed under the plane tree in the park by the drinking fountains. We want the park to be colorful all year round. So stop by, take a seat on a bench and relax for a bit.
