FROM JENEVER TO MODERN GINS

Join Filip Jančárek, a leading Czech bartender and instructor, on an interesting journey through the varied history of this noble spirit with its characteristic juniper aroma. We’ll start with its origins in Jenever, move through the era of sweeter Old Tom gins, stop at the now classic London Dry gin and discover the new modern styles that are taking this spirit ever further.

On this historical journey, we will learn how gin has evolved over the centuries, how it is made, what categories it is divided into, what interesting ingredients can be used in its production and, last but not least, how best to enjoy it.

Tasted gins: Citadelle Old Tom| Broker’s London Dry |Canaïma |Brockmans| Elephant Sloe| *Premium Tonic (East Imperial, Fever-tree)
