Join us on two unforgettable journeys through Western Greenland, where the fascinating Inuit culture meets the rugged beauty of the Arctic wilderness. Marvel at the towering icebergs of Disko Bay and the graceful whales swimming among them. Together, we will explore the famous Arctic Circle Trail, leading us all the way to the seemingly endless Greenland Ice Sheet.
In harbours lined with colourful houses, we will delve into the history of Greenland’s settlement and gain insight into the lives of its present-day inhabitants. Along the way, dense fog leaves us stranded for a week in the port town of Sisimiut, bringing a series of unexpected adventures. Since helicopters are unable to fly between towns in such conditions, the only way to reach the main airport is by boat. What followed was an epic half-day voyage across the sea and through a rarely travelled fjord, which ultimately became the highlight of the entire journey.
