In 2016, he took over the leadership of Slavia Insurance, where he came from the consulting company Endovia. His previous professional experience in the insurance segment was gained during his twenty-year tenure at Allianz, where he started as a mathematician in the life insurance department and later worked in several other positions, including a four-year stay at the parent holding in Germany. For the last three years, he served as a member of the board of directors. Karel Waisser studied at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University. His hobby is horseback riding.
