The next in a series of travel evenings comes in November. We will travel to Iraq.
Vladimír Váchal visited this country at the beginning of 2003 and brought back many photographs, which he will present to you along with his commentary. Together we will go to Babylon, your, Uruk and Nippur. We will look at the appearance of post-war Baghdad and the holy places of Shiite Islam such as Najaf or Karbala. Come and listen to how people travel around the country, which is often referred to as the cradle of human civilization, today.
