We would like to inform you about the planned reconstruction of the Želetavská and Jemnická intersection, which will be carried out in several phases between 1st and 31st October 2026.
The reconstruction is necessary due to significant wear and tear of the road surface and is also intended to enhance the public space, improve comfort, and increase the safety of both pedestrians and motorists in this part of Brumlovka.
Important information regarding the reconstruction
- Due to the scope of the construction works, a one-way traffic system will be introduced on part of Želetavská Street, in the direction from Vyskočilova Street. Access from Želetavská Street onto Vyskočilova Street will remain available throughout the reconstruction period.
- As larger vehicles will be unable to pass through the reconstruction area, the BB2 shuttle bus line will be suspended from Monday, 5th October until the completion of the works. To maintain sufficient transport capacity and passenger comfort, all Brumlovka shuttle buses will operate on the BB1 line, with an expanded timetable.
- Except for the section directly affected by the intersection reconstruction, Želetavská Street will remain open to traffic in both directions.
- Access to all adjacent buildings and garage entrances will be maintained throughout the entire construction period.
- Traffic arrangements may vary during the individual phases of the reconstruction. We therefore kindly ask you to pay close attention to temporary traffic signage when travelling to this part of Brumlovka.
