As part of the prestigious 31st annual Building of the Year awards, organised each year by the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction, Passerinvest Group, a.s., received the Special Jury Award for the architecturally and urbanistically exceptionally conceived residential project Rezidence Oliva.
The façade of Rezidence Oliva is made from opaque but translucent glass panels. In a combination with the matte glass railing, it ensures the users of the building a high degree of privacy when relaxing on their outdoor balconies, while also not taking away any of the luminous comfort in the flats, which number 72. Large French windows also provide an abundance of light and give the space much needed airiness. At the same time, the building also has an unusually designed glass atrium with panoramic lifts, which creates a pleasant common as well as social space for the residents of the building. In addition to an interesting architectural concept and design, the project was created in a high technological standard using, for example, centrally controlled air recovery. The use of high-quality materials and modern technologies ensures maximum comfort for the residents, for which the possibility of connecting to a smart home is also a great benefit.
The aim of the prestigious Building of the Year awards is to acquaint the professional and lay public with the level of Czech construction and architecture. It is organised by ABF – Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction with the support of other entities, such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It was also possible to watch the announcement of the 31st awards online and a recording of it is available HERE.
