A Coffin for Two is a play written by French playwright Jean‑Pierre Martinez. It is a witty conversational comedy set in a funeral home. The owner, Edmond Picard, is dealing with the absence of an employee and replaces him with the unconventional Samantha. As if that weren’t enough, today is the funeral of two politicians — Monsieur Dellamere and Madam Martino. This combination of circumstances guarantees an entertaining show and once again proves that the funeral profession is far from dull.
