Join me for an exploratory journey to a country that, despite pressure from its powerful neighbor, continues to preserve its freedom, culture, and unique identity. Taiwan — a democratic island that is rarely talked about, yet one China would prefer to erase from the map. During our ten‑day journey, we will visit tea plantations, bamboo groves, and hot springs, climb the island’s highest mountain, taste authentic hotpot, and walk through a marble gorge.
